Google update

funny to see some forums are completely excited about the serp changes and even already have different names for the different results and other forums, like this one, try to completely ignore it.

I completely agree with the fact that the almost daily "is google dancing" , "Google is broken" , "when is the next pr update" posts are irritating but something is going on...

beeing harsh is easy and you probably make friend easy like that, until people try to make a real conversation with you, but if you look a bit further than your nose is long you see 3 or 4 different results rotating.

 

PR update? No. SERP update? I think so. On most datacenters (about 50 out of 56), I jumped into the top 10 for a couple of keywords and my forum gets referrals from Google like crazy. Hell, my uniques have doubled today and it isn't even dinner time yet.

 

Yea, somethings up.

One of my sites averages 47 uniques a day (I know, big deal). But already today at 9:58am I'm already at 46 uniques.

I can't believe I am bumping this thread. However...

1119 views in 1 day, which is probably low-mid range of what would be expected with the topic. Given the number of replies, and then factor in how long it takes to check DC's and the various tools and such, allow for repeat visitors, and I'd give it 2 minutes per view for the people who looked at this, minimum.

That's 373 man hours you wasted, as of this point, not counting everyone else still to come. And yet, you feel it is more important to insult the guy who who said you didn't know what you were talking about, rather than ask the often repeated question of "what update?".

It's where Google reshuffles the search results. Google does that daily, but the "updates" of mention are when Google also visibly changes PageRank (the number it assigns to each site, determining how "good" each site is).

As for me, in the last week, I have one site that went from PR 0 to PR 1. I have another site that kept a PR of 6, but went from 500 indexed pages to 375. None of my other 20 sites have seen any changes at all.

So, looks like an update really happened, but not a lot of visible changes.

I'm guessing very strongly that the site you think changed from 0 to 1, you were checking the adrress as .html and then finally checked as /, or vice versa. There was no PR update, adn there I'm not guessing.

No, I just use Digital Point's tracker, and watch the fluctuation in PR that it shows. No change in how I check, unless DP changed how it checks.

I missed that follow up post where you explained, only saw the ones where you were ragging on others for you not being at all clear in your first post.

Since I am a huge proponent of free speech I guess that does extend to tards such as yourself posting whatever the hell you feel like. At least brother-sister progeny like you do make me truly examine the whole "we are all equal" philosophy and not just accept it blindly because it sounds good.

I am seeing changes everyday in the pages indexed by Google. I don't think that constitutes an update. Backlinks are the same, PR is the same and rankings haven't really changed.

anthony, staying on topic does not mean staying just on your topic. I know this got dragged into the mud somewhat because of the ambiguity and sensationalism of the title and original post, and I know I'm one of the ones that contributed to that, but still...

Do better and you will find that you will have no problems with me, unlike what you did to me on another forum playing games and pulling stunts and making idiotic posts and silly attacks like you did in this thread.
