on one of my sites I can see that I have a lot better ranking for some keywords BUT it doesn't mean that I get more visitors like you would think. Not sure why it is that way but I check my stats and see what people have been searching for and I can see that I am up in the 5,000,000 pages and you would think that this would increase your visitors a lot but not no, but hell no
My AdSens is also down and can't really figure out the correlation yet

I'd say, stop harassing each other! I left SEW just because of that! People tried to be smartasses and just offended each other and I'd hate if this forum went the same way!

This is really pissing me off i'm losing like on an average of 20 pages a day from google.

I was at 500 indexed now i'm at 110, and half of them are from a folder I didn't want to get indexed and I specifically gave it the nofollow in the robots.txt file.

 

What I have been seeing and hearing is that the number of indexed pages for many sites affected by the new crawl/index procedure has dramatically jumped. If this is the case, more pages, more links. This could account for changes in the SERP's as these links are taken into account.

If you consider notion that since the implemantation of Big Daddy, Google may have decided that it's going to work with a finite amount of space for their index. This might account for the de-indexing of deep pages within a site deemed "not worthy enough" to have all its' pages in the index.

Since they just de-indexed a few billion pages, they now have room to add those few billion back into the index from those sites who have lost them.

If true, this could account for any swings in the SERP's right now that would give the appearance of an update, although I'm inclined to believe that Google has enough issues at the moment and any kind of update is highly unlikely.

I just recently received backlinks from this forum. These are new.

 

All I know is that the DP keyword tracker is showing me wildly different serp results than those I get on google for a number of keywords.

Dont know what DC tracker uses but I'm based in Ireland.

My pages have yet to be re-indexed and have yet to show any linkbacks, still waiting...
