I am seeing some movement in my SERPs as well as on the datacentres (more than the usual little movements). Anyone else noticing this stuff?? My SERPs were fairly stable until this morning, but are showing quite a bit of variation (for the better) this afternoon.
I noticed a backlinks update on Friday. Could this still be settling in across all of the Google datacenters?
Wahay, I'm seeing a major jump for my main keyphrase on this datacenter... http://216.239.39.99/ I hope it sticks and moves across to the other data centers. Merry Christmas me!! Anyone else? I hope so, good luck. Jane
My SERPs have gone back to what they were earlier. I wonder if this was a temporary tweak ..... hopefully the real thing's not that far off.
There is site with google history http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/page-rank-update-list.html I like this site... I hope they update soon!!
My SERPS are still bouncing around but are moving back closer to what they were before last weeks big drop. Sometime yesterday afternoon or over night they cut my BL's in half though and droped about 100 pages from their index though. Oh I wish they would get their s*** toghther. Or at least show some consistency.
Don't worry about the BLs reported by Google, buddy! As they seem to report random figures for BLs (deliberately, I suppose) and not the actual BLs. In the past, they only used to report high PR pages, then they switched to showing low PR pages and now they show a random sample of BLs. If you want consistency, just use the "linkdomain:" function on Yahoo.
Google want to make life more difficult for the SEO'er / webmaster. It's the price we pay for services starting up, like buying text links to improve PR IMO.
I was fine last night, hanging in at #39 in a pool of 2.4 mil. This morning, I fell to #71 just like late last week. It almost seems like they rolled back last week's changes, and started the process again today. /*tom*/
