Google update?

    Hello,
I delete my old website and put a full new website in place on the net.
When I search for my website in Google, it shows me the old site title and old description. When Google will update this? Or I have to do it somewhere?

    Thanks,
    SkyFlyer

    No Worries!

If the titles and Descriptions are coming from DMOZ then you need to submit a re-evaluation with them.

Otherwise, re-submit a GOOGLE SITEMAP through WMT (web master tools) and wait wait wait....until it gets updated....

Agree with you. :D Submission to social bookmarking site would also help, especially for fast indexing of your site. :p

If your site continues to display the title and description from your DMOZ listing (if you've successfully submitted it that is) then add the <meta name=”robots” content=”noodp”> meta tag- this will use the title & description on the page rather than that in the DMOZ listing.
