Google update named “Penguin†& Panda Series (3.6) update ! Each year, Google changes its search algorithms innumerable times. While most of these changes are minor, every few months Google rules out a ‘major’ algorithmic update that affects search results in significant ways. In short: Old Link Building strategies are passé. To stay ahead in the game, you need to be in tune with these ever changing prerequisites. If you thought your website could get away with: • Links from pages having no content • Poor quality links from irrelevant sites • Links from sites crammed with advertisements • Same content for multiple submissions • Absence of SMO in the overall SEO plan • Content farming with low value articles and blogs for Google/users • No site moderation Your rankings will suffer! Now tell me what is the latest plan for link building ? Can we make proper plan here?
Yes your post is quite correct, but I can add the SEO specialists should randomize their backlinks. Check the http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/anchors?site=<URL> about the number of your backlinks Most probably you will have more than 50% from the links with same anchor, and if you randomize them to long tails you will get out from the penguin update
Essentially what needs to be done is create a proper solid link building structure that includes unique content, RELEVANT and Contextual links, High quality links and very very important is a massive link diversity... even from sites with different CMS's. Your On site SEO and content needs to be as perfect as you can get it.
can we make plan here because now time is come we need to do proper plan can anyone good experience in seo or google search engine experience person help to build new plan ?
Yes it is high time we made a plan and a road map for our own sake. We have to stop being slapped. I will keep my eyes on this thread for some effective plan.
Deez pretty much laid it out. Now more than ever is a diverse link profile important. You want everything to be as natural looking as possible.
As per the Searchengineland.com, the latest Panda Update took place on 19th April 2012. The version is 3.5 not 3.6
Panda 3.5 did take place on April 19th, however, 3.6 is the latest update which rolled out on April 27th: Google Algorithm Timeline - http://www.seomoz.org/google-algorithm-change
I think we should not depend too much on Google in the future. It is better to look for more ways that can drive your potential customers to your site, such as SMO as you said. In addition, we should stick to providing some useful content for both the customers and Google.
