Google Update in Progress?

I had no see the PR updata ,but the SERPs changed neally every 6-8 hours.

 

No change on my site. Still waiting.

and SERPs change daily.

google is updating every sunday

 

Nothing has changed here to any of my website and not to any of my blog too.

 

SERP always changes fast for low PR websites.

 

I think I've experience the same thing!My site's keyword (very competitive) drop from 1st page to 2nd page in google for couple of days. And now its back to 1st page in # 6 position.

 

SERPs swicthes up and down every hour on my computer . They're using old data and mixed data from various datacenter ,I guess.

 

Sir for your kind information SERPs don't change on daily basis for dropping from page 1 to nothing!!!. Minor fluctuations may not raise flags. But the reason for starting this discussion was "did any one of your experienced drop in your established position for 5-6 months and suddenly its gone?". I have experiencing fluctuations for my position for last 1 week.

But I found out the reason for it.

My site is back on its position but with some thing new added to it. The "Stumble Upon" tags. I monitor my results regularly and these tags were no where there for the past 1 year or so. Anyways, I have noticed change for my SERPs but not PR.

serps move all the time, and you might find different serps at different data centers at the same exact time

 

Absolutely true. Google just doesn't update PR everyday.

 

Where do you get this ??

I believe the SERPS that have lots of queries change quite frequently within the day, but a drop from page 1 to page 10 (or nowhere) is not a minor daily fluctuation ...


I too have seen big drop in one of my major keywords, but no PR updates so far

 

The whole point of this discussion was not judge or confirm that "SERPs change on daily" basis, rather it was about this particular situation of dropping of rank from page1 to no where.... and then back again. I wonder why some of the poor souls above started getting defensive by shouting "he is wrong" and "that is right"

Again it was about an observation not about a common occurrence.

I have seen changes in my site ranking for few keywords so there is some change

 

have you tried to observe it from time to time? I bet there are some changes!

 

Google is updating.. I noticed a lot of site's dropped badly.

I lost 50% of my traffic

 

I've noticed sites moving up the list within hours of obtaining a relevant backlink (from a blog post). It will usually drop ranking just as quickly though.
