We are just lucky Shawn puts up with us crazy posters around here. That is nothing new for Minstrel, Dodger or myself, we are always at each other even when we are nice to each other. Makes for great forum entertainment, they know the game. I like those guys a lot, many do not think so, but I think they know it is all part of the biz (giving them the biz) Hope you are doing well Daz.
Awww... I find it very touching that you missed me, AC. And you're right -- as annoying as you can be some times, I'm starting to appreciate your sense of humor
Minstrel, if we were in complete agreement why would there be a need for a forum here or at your place?
Exactly. When I do marriage counselling, couples often say, "we're so different" -- my reply is, "okay... and? would you really want to be married to someone who was just the same as you? what would be the point?"
Well when you are young and good looking the mirror is fine, but as you age you tend to want to share the misery with someone.
We will find a way to debate it, I have a title that could make the thread a smash. "Everything you wanted to know about Minstrel, but were afraid to ask" I will tell you one thing, you should research this thread, because there are some very interesting posts in this one before I came into it. Compar is making a lot of sense, he is bringing up something that he has researched a lot in the McDar thread. I am not telling you to look at the SEO question, but the way that the contributors who are all old friends could be so passionate about contesting their positions. That is very interesting to me even though I do think Bob is right on because of the research discovered in the McDar thread.
I have been reading this thread. I've even posted in it. I don't think Bob is right though -- but that's nothing new.
The interesting thing about this is that I have asked Bob to give a summary on this thread as to what facts were established by this research. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=256 He mentioned that he could not give a summary because there was no conclusion even though they have been at it forever. So I do think he is on to something and has facts and figures that few can understand and not just opinions. Maybe that is why the feelings are so strong here.
I am my own church, AC. I disapprove of a lot of what goes on in formal churches, although I think some people find a lot of comfort there (and sometimes I envy them for being able to do that) -- so I have my own church inside me, which means I don't have to wait until Sunday to go there...
Does this mean that all contributions are tax exempt Minstrel? The doctrine does include some prayers to those on the Mountainview, correct?
Actually, they are a tax deduction (medical expense)... and up here psychologists don't even have to charge sales tax Shall I put you down for next Wednesday afternoon, AC?
Sorry Minstrel, when Shawn was gone we converted DP into a tax exempt chruch. The only doctrine is that we believe in Superman Shawn
It's never too late to start another church Minstrel, it is the best business in the USA, protected by the government just like corporate crime. We just have to think of a name and what dues would be to join every year. Could be "The church of Google Zeal", if you pay me enough, as bad as the economy is, I would convert to become a founding minister
You better see if you can get the name, it is already gone, you can bet on that. There are many variations of Google in many domain names and there really is nothing they can do about it.
