google update backlnks related with update pr?

Is in anyway related the pr update with backlinks update?for example if anyone know when was the last backlink update and the last pr update?can we predict the pr update,based in the period last backlink update to last pr update? also another thing,i have put 3 sitewide links for my directory past 3 days and g dont have it in the updated backlinks.that means that i have to wait 3 months to count it by google???

 

The link: function on Google is updated at the same time as the PR data export, so your links will only become apparent then. Google will know about your links internally, but only release the information publicly a few times a year at PR update time.

but they miss the minor updates I remember some backlink updates without pagerank update.

 

google usually updates backlinks and PR around the same time...they seem to update webmasters tools backlinks a lot more often though.....they know about your links...they are just not showing them

 

updating the backlinks is a sign of pr update. if google did not count some of your backlinks, you must wait 3 months more them to effect your toolbar page rank
