    Hi everyone

I know a lot of people are wondering about the new Google Universal algorithm and many will have questions how this will effect their website.

Here are some tips to use to optimize your website and intellectual property for best results with Google and natural search engine rankings.

    1. Search on Google for the keyword term you want to be on the front page for. Look at what is presented to you. Up top you will find different links under the Google Logo. Those links are where you want to place your pages, images, books, videos, etc into on Google.

    2. Rename all pictures to you keyword terms instead of pic983a.jif use internet_marketing.gif

    3. Rename all website pages to keyword terms, if they are not already.

Please feel free to visit my blog and read all of my tips for Google Universal Search Engine Optimization Strategy

Tell your friends and family too!!!

    Thanks

Does it check your image file name or just the alt text, or both?

it will be difficult for my site coz I will let my visitor upload the picture to my site by themself and there is no way i can put alt tag in all of them. :(

For indexing of pictures within Google Images it uses the picture name.

    If you search Google for

jimi hendrix image the page will return with three images of the guitarist.

    www.bbc.co.uk/.../images/1024/jimi_hendrix.jpg

if you look at the name of the image in red you see it matches the keyword term

Use an undescore between your words if needed.

Google will certainly work out a way to discount image keyword spam, so be careful if you use this method.
