This sounds stupid. I don't want pictures and videos mixed up in my website serps. They already have a tab for pictures ad videos, why clog up the site serps? I don't get it.
I don't know if this is just me: http://www.google.com/search?q=bomberman&hl=en&safe=off&start=0&sa=N Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see a youtube video result, which stands out substantially more.
I've noticed metacafe also have videos on, do google have any kind of relation to these? I own a video site and wouldn't mind my videos being displayed with a thumbnail, but how? Does this mean certain sites are going to have a better oppurtinity
I don't know why google bother with google video anymore.. youtube is obviously better. why not combine efforts.

butalt tags are only 1 factor, seo algs are made of hundreds of vairables.... for image preiority what variables will they use...other than image title and alt tag and content on page?

That was a great article. I think this will be interesting for a lot of searches, but for industrial manufacturing, I don't think much will change unless manufactures begin pumping out videos of their products. Who knows, maybe they will. Just imagine how cool the "toilet seat" or "door stop" videos would be
