ya..thats true but ..google is best..

 

Google behavior is based on democratic (market research) there are 200 factors considered to bring you the results.. it is something to praise that Google does not modify the search results intentionally or you will be getting Google on top for most search queries..

 

hehe that's funny.the biggest and best search engine is not first on that keyword haha weird .they don't even need to be first,as everyone type the address directly

 

its mean google can not chat others, who spend money on SEO

Definitely,if i were the CEO of google,i would have tweaked the results with google in the first place....

Why would Google need to be in the results when your already using it?

 

That article makes a very valid point though...why would someone searching in google wants to see google on top he is already in google

 

its just a matter of prestige.... noting else..

(but google will never waste time for these silly issues... )

 

Oh well, it is not whether you are the 1st ranked, but whether you can provide what your customers want! thats why Altavista, hotbot etc failed : )) Just give those who tried the 1st ranked for a while, and when they are dissatisfied with the results, they will move down and eventually to Google, and stick to it : ))

 

They don't need to be first, but you think they would be in their own search engine, so this is kind of funny.

 

It doesnt matter. For someone to notice that youd already have to be using a search engine. So why would you be searching for another? And if you werent satisfied with google then everyone knows yahoo anyway, so you still have no need to search that term.

Maybe we should all take pity on Google and make one blog comment each linking back to them with the anchor text: search engine

 

lol, this is pretty funny, I don't think Google is so generous as to give away the top spot, a search for "web directory" for example puts themselves firmly at number one... with the Yahoo's (arguably bigger) directory nowhere to be seen in the top places.

Maybe they just haven't noticed.... whats the betting they are number one in a few days once Matt and friends have read this thread...

 

Maybe be true but search engine is the basis of what google is, they WILL know what possition they are for that keyword.

There are millions - trillions - of people all over the world who have no idea what a 'search engine' is or what it's called.

But they know what Google is, what it does and what its called.
