    UGH = Unusual Google Happenings!

    Okay, has anyone else noticed these weird going on's?

    1. DMOZ / Google directory description replaced the title/content description
    2. Different results in Google.co.uk and Google.com (always been the same rankings on our KW terms until recently)
    3. Strange results when you do allinurl: or inurl: i.e. only a small number of pages, click on the link at the bottom to view more pages, and has the correct number showing.

    Our KW's used to be the same ranking on co.uk and .com at the moment there's only a few places between the two, but .com is the lowest ranking keywords - any ideas how I can get .com to rank aswell as .co.uk or is it simply it's a UK site so therefore it's always going to rank higher.

    If I go to .co.uk or .com and click on UK results only, the rankings are either better - but how many people click on UK results only - not many I reckon.

    Anyone any ideas? Seen the UGH for your own site?

    Darren :)

    I saw this. It lasted for a few days, and then they fixed fixed it (I'm not sure if my email helped or not - they didn't reply). Looks like they are beta-testing something :)

    Yeh JD they sure are.

    Initially when I did inurl:mydomain.net it showed the DMOZ description but now it's appearing in the search results. If they do implement it I can see some unhappy people due to bad DMOZ editor descriptions.
