I'm really starting to like Bing as well

No one can beat Google for its quality,simplicity,cleanliness and speed.

Bing is not yet ready to compete with Google yet.

 

Well, it's a great competition between Google and Bing. But I think it's a long way to go before Bing can beat Google. I know it is not impossible for Bing to become the top SE, but I don't think Google will let that happen so easy.

This is a very fascinating post.
Most people saying Google is best this, is popular that, but really is Google all that?
Yes Google might be the first choice for people looking to search for a product/information query but does that mean these users leave google satisfied?
Google is filled with Junk spam and that is a fact! Now, before chewing my head off i'm not saying any other search engine is not but the degree of google is just way tops.
A new site established today can rank 1st page with simple SEO manipulation, wether this site delivers information it's ranking for is another issue.
I honestly belive Bing teaming up with Yahoo is a very good move, I'm not sure anybody really knows how to manipulate rankings in either yet which makes delivering results to query very interesting. Now like most things, if you are leading the way, those following will definitely learn from your mistakes and I also believe this is the case with Bing/Yahoo.
My understanding of this issue is Google has recognized the threat Bing/Yahoo poses and you can see that from the latest updates being implemented.
I will not go into flaws with both search engines, but if google is copying bing/yahoo or vice versa this definetly to our benefits, since the end results will definitely make searching better.

google is simply a bigger player. maybe he copied bing, maybe he isnt. but notorius fact is that bigger player implement all work frrom others. iphone isn't nor the first nor the best mp3 player, still it is synonym to a mp3 players in general. so google as search engine. in vocabularies there is a term "google it". i havent heard that anyone said "bing it".

understand? i am not saying that google is better, just that google is bigger.

 

maybe it sounds strange but this big players playing like some kids... I think google has always copied things from others, nothing new for them... they have that thing that helps them to make a product sell, and they are good doing this, the best I could say, they didn't invented the wheel..

@RBN nice explanation. Well, I think both are in same business. So, I would say both are competing each other.

 

Its a good job to follow the good work of others besides your own job. Google is doing in the same way. They update their algorithms very frequently and never hesitate to do the same if someone is doing good.

I think Bing is trying some ways to beat google!
That they are Facebook and Google is MySpace (from a few years ago!)
