I don't understand the second statement, but @www.domain.tld actually seems to show mentions of 'www.domain.tld', as found in the cache, and certainly not all of them. Some do not link, they are merely mentions of the url. For instance, http://www.whois.sc/verisign-dns/15301/ comes up with @ for my site, see #15342. You can simply search on 'www.domain.tld' and get the same results, as well as \www domain.tld, "www.domain.tld", and more...

definition: word is another good thing to use... ie if you want to know the meaning of beneficiary, you type in definition: beneficiary and you get a whole bunch of definitions or sites with definitions with that word.
You can also create your own operators using the google coop - http://www.google.com/coop I haven't had much of a chance to play around with it yet, but it looks promising.
