Anyone know if there is an API to go along with this? Typing out each query is kind of a pain.

Some of the words don't really work right now... maybe it'll be better in the future.

    visual relationship database, cool.

Interesting that the major presupposition in google's eyes is the relationship between news and traffic....

Could you please specify what is cool about it? other than the fact that it is a google service and that shawn opened the thread.
I used it and I could not find it convincing, it shows results from partial data and for many keywords usa is not listed nbr 1 which I find strange

In a very general way, it can be useful. I tried some of my best keywords but Trends wouldn't predict what I am actually seeing on traffic, conversion, etc. It's fun to play with though.

this would be very usefull when you are doing keyword research for for new domains & sites. When you do keyword research you can only see whats happened in the past, google trend can give you an idea about the future.

    example

see the trend for youtube, its climbing faster than myspace at the beginning. Skype is close to flatlined. Just from that one example you can see that a "tutorial/tools" site for youtube would be a great investment :D ;) ;)

Wow..that is realy cool.. I know how much traffic some of my sites (which are on number one of google) are getting.. so I can compare any keywords with those sites of mine and can guess how many queries a keyword can get in google..:D

    DP vs WMW vs SP

    Check it here.

Its strange why is it showing WMW stats only for the year 2005?
At this point SP and DP are heading in same direction.
