Google Trends and Keyword Planner

    OK, So I'm looking at a couple keywords. One has 50k searches/month and one has 10k searches/month.

    When I put the exact same keywords into Google trends it shows a crazy amount of interest in the 10k searches/month keyword and very little in the 50k searches.

    What is happening here? Am I crazy?
