I was just wondering, how do sites get these kind of trees in their Google search: http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=limestone+networks&meta=&aq=f&oq= By trees I mean those grouped links under their search query. I have submitted my site to dmoz and over 200+ directories and I still do not have a "tree". Do you know any ebooks or tutorials that can help me get a better SEO in order to get one of these "trees"? Thanks! Jay S.
Have you gone into Google's webmaster tools? Go in there and there is some tools for managing it. I wouldn't think so, but maybe it is necessary to sign up with webmaster tools to get one unless you are a very large site. Eric
They are called "site links" and you have to be a strong first position to be considered to get them.
Thye're called sitelinks. Google gives them automatically at it's own discretion. They have never said what the criteria are. A site seems to need to be established - i.e. not new, and have a clear navigation path. In webmaster tools you can say what pages you don't want featured in your sitelinks, not what pages you do want.
As said above, it's called Site Links and the Google will show them automatically if they think it could be helpful for the searchers However, it's all about deep linking and your own website inner linking structure and for sure you should be ranking first for that particular keyword
Yes, sitelinks.. that is what I meant. Okay, I guess I will do some more research into SEO. I have an account for Google Webmaster Tools.
i got site link in my site but how to see in on google search? I try to search by domain name but still not show
google site link is very impressive because it used to occupy some extra space and looks impressive. You can get more visitors and probability to get clicked. Site-links are generated itself but it comes at your most relevant word to your domain. Make your domain more and more popular or promote particular word as your website theme, you will get it.
I have seen in my website tool I have two sitelink in my website. I have notice more traffic link will display in sitelink in google search. Have you notice in your site ? try to search your website google sitelink and compare with your Google analytic pageview Most high traffic page will see in Google sitelink. I hope this will help you to find out the your competitor website high traffic page.
Make sure you check sone you dont want to show in webmaster tools so that you dont get links like http redirects or sitemaps that you have many links to.
