Google traffic lost, keywords on the 5th page.

    Hi,

I have a very big problem. For almost 3 months now i rank on the 5th page for every keyword i used to optimize my site with. Before i had the first page for 10-20 keywords. My site has more then 2 years now and it's not a sandbox problem.

Todat i discovered that 2 more site's in the same niche as the first one are confrunting with the same problem. I don't have any hidden links or stuff like this, no external sitewide links, no link exchanges.

IF anyone is capable to help me in this matter i can offer 100-200$ for the winning solution.

I really don't know what to do next.

    The websites are tipseri.com, biletul-zilei.com and rezultate-live.info

    Many thanks!
    Alex

It is a little tougher to diagnose the problem on a non-English website. Many other people are in the same scenario as you....stuck on page 5 or 6. Many of those people have 'thin affiliate websites' with little unique content. Since I can't read your content, I don't know if it is unique. I do see a whole lot of ads though. That could be the problem. Google might have a threshold for how many affiliate links you can have on one page.

The content is 80% unique. Try tipseri.com/sportbetting/ the english version of the website.

There are thousands of websites displaying ads like mine and they do not have any problem.

3 months ago when i got this problem with tipseri.com i optimized for 2 keywords and i got more then 100 IBL on a short time for that 2 keywords.

I think that the same thing happend with the other 2 websites.

I've seen this problem at many websites that's why i thought that is a "global" scenario.

Any ways to get back up there? I kept the website allways with fresh content and backlinks but still nothing changed.

    Thanks!

Getting too many links all at once can be a problem, especially if you did not vary the link anchor text sufficiently.

The other websites displaying ads like yours may have better ways of hiding them from Google, such as blocking pages via the robots.txt file.

It sounds like a classical -50 penalty. I have experienced the problem several times on different pages, but I have until now not been able to recover the pages. I have done several experiments, but ended up putting all the content on new pages and start all over... :(

I have done some analysis, and my conclusion is that -50 penalty can hit pages with a thin external linkstructure. Typical a circle of links from own pages to the page hit by the penalty.

Can you tell more about your external linkstructure/links pointing to your page? A healthy page needs a broad number of links from many pages linkting.

Could be nice to know more about your page.

Are you sure there is nothing else you could have done to cause this? Simply getting backlinks should not cause your rank to lower... Unless they are from untrusting sources?

Ok, i'll try to hide those ads in an <iframe> code.

Thanks for your time. I have 20 sites in this niche. All of them are bound together. I saw this problem at another website best-livescore.info

I don't think that tipseri.com has a thin link-structure. I was hoping that the penalty will drop with the last PR update, i thought it has a connection with it.

Also i got a PR 4, i know that the PR is not relevant but it's there.

    What solutions did u tried?

The google sandbox appears in the first 6 months of a site's life. Also, if you are sandboxed you rank on all the keywords bad, even if you search your-domain.com on google, which is not my case. Try google.ro/search?q=tipseri.com&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:ro:eek:fficial&client=firefox-a

No, i don't use blackhat or things like this.

Any solutions? My reward is still there.

    Thanks all for support!

I am still pretty sure you have hit the -50 penalty casued by thin external linkstructure. Especially when you are telling me that all of your 20 pages are bound together. I was exactly same situation that caused my drop nearly year ago. Google do not like circle-link-structures.

Since 5-6 of my pages dropped from position in 1-10 to position 50-60 in the very same day, I made several tests to try to save the pages.

    1. On one of the pages I removed all links pointing out to other pages (maybe google thought some of them was non-topic)

    2. For one of the pages I bought several very strong PR links

    3. For one of the pages I rewrote most of the content

    4. For one of the pages I removed only the link-partner-page.

I also did some other stuff wich I can't remember at the moment. The conclusion: Its 8-9 months ago and ALL of the pages are still ranking 50-60 in Google on the keywords. Non of the tests worked. Luckaly I started new pages just one week after the drop, and they are doing very well today, so I am not broked :)

But I really think you should forget about the page. Take all of the content and place it on a new page ang start to work again. This time you have to think about link-circles etc. Always try to optain a healthy wide-spreaded linkstruckture.

Well, its just my opinion. Maybe I am wrong

    OMG!

That means i'm history from now on. I tried some of your tests 3 months ago. I removed all the links that i had on the website, i have now only 3 external links, and started to get some quality backlinks. None of them worked.

My site's are on different ip adresses if that counts.

When you said "Take all of the content and place it on a new page ang start to work again." On a new page means on a new site or ..?

    Thanks Cromagx!

LE. I have my sites now on page 3.

Check duplicate content issues. When you submit articles they should be unique or at least rewritten versions or you could be penalised. Maybe you bought links or got them too fast and seen as spam or maybe you have submitted your site too many times. Another thing - be careful when you check your ranking use programs. You can be penalised if search engine sees you are constantly checking using an automated tool. use a safe tool like IBP and not too often....

Same stuff is happening to lots of old and trusted sites that don't sell links, don't do anything wrong: they just get penalized and no one knows why.

Google is even stupid then we thought since relevant sites get -50 penalization while mfa's and spam blogs with 1 post (you gotta be fucking joking with me) rank #3...

Edit: Just forget those ^^ moron remarks above cause those fellows clearly don't know what they are talking about. You have been penalized. Search for similar threads since October 28th, the date this shit started worldwide.

    I tried everything.. nothing worked..

I have to try one more thing then i'll give up. I willban google bots from access my site and i'll remove it myself from google using webmaster tools. I'll add some noindex, nofollow tags just to be sure and a simple ip ban on the google robots. After i will disapear from the search i'll drop all of this hoping that the penalty will end.

    Any opinions about this?
