It is good for confirming keyword research that you get from other sources, but I wouldn't suggest using it to find your niche keywords. Check my signature on how I do my keyword research.
Are you saying that because you have a product for similar use or do you genuinely not find use from the adwords tool?
The data on that tool is very vague and quite inaccurate from my experience. First off they only give you little bar graphs for the traffic amounts instead of concrete figures. These traffic amounts are either: low traffic, medium traffic or high traffic and the exact figures are left up to your imagination. Secondly wordtracker could be reporting (correctly) that a keyword gets 500 searches a day whereas quite often Google will not have caught up with the actual amount of traffic on that keyword. I assume they update these "bar graphs" quite irregularly. It has nothing to do with me trying to sell you my own tool.
from WordTracker, Keyword Discovery and the Google Paid API. You can decide which one you want to use.
Areeb, for the wordtracker and keyword discovery choices im guessing that would be offering the options/results for the paid versions of each of them? Thanks ssandecki, i keep forgetting about google trends.
Everyone seems too, don't feel bad. Thats why S. Sandecki is here, to be like... ahem... what about this little thing over there....
