I always wait to upgrade my FF at least a few weeks (as long as I can really, sometimes it forces an update) but If its not enabled atm, it'll come soon.

YOu have that backwards. Google Toolbar is not supporting FF5. It's up to Google to fix that, not Firefox.

if you need the google toolbar, it's best to revert back to FF4. When I was going to upgrade to FF5, I had a popup telling me the addons that wouldn't work yet with the new version of Firefox...so I'm holding off because there are some addons I can't live without (McAfee SiteAdvisor, for one, for safe web surfing).

Every time firefox puts out a new version there is some addon that doesn't work. Some do eventually get updated. Maybe google will wait a while to update the toolbar for firefox 5 and try to get people to use chrome instead. Mozilla has a addon compatibility report for firefox 5, but I don't even see google toolbar on the list. Currently it says 87% compatible - 13% not compatible addons. You can check here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/compatibility

Since this doesn't happen to anyone else, it's obvious your PC needs fixing and you shouldn't be blaming Firerfox.

I upgraded to Version 5, but, I quickly downgraded to get Google Toolbar back. I love the spell check feature.
