Google doesn’t want you to use its new Chrome browser. If you try to install the Google Toolbar on Chrome, it practically suggests that you switch browsers. Chrome users are greeted with this message: We’re sorry, but Google Toolbar 5 is only available for Internet Explorer and Firefox Chrome is like a giant Google Toolbar that takes up the whole screen, so you don’t really need it. (The Toolbar offers Google search, bookmarks, search suggestions, Web history, and shortcuts to Google apps). But still that’s not the message Google wants to be sending to curious Chrome users.
Even Google Chrome is developed by Google I still don't like it. All of my tools and addons are available on firefox that's why I still like firefox.
Interesting question. Why wouldn't Google make a tool bar for it's own browser? What is the purpose of the toolbar? Could it be to send Google information about your browsing habits? Does Chrome already do that so they don't need the toolbar to do it too?
Yup ineteresting question I also had the same question in my mind. Google not having its own toolbar in its browser strange.
I do not see a reason why I ought to use Chrome. I'm always against change when it comes to computers
The issue is that the toolbar is kind of built into the google chrome browser already AND the toolbar also makes the browser not as lightweight and speedy -- if the toolbar were for Google chrome and worked correctly, it would have to be faster and more stylish. The browsing issues regarding anonymous tracking and placement of ads isn't really an issue to advertisers or publishers but its just a privacy concern Google and all sites collect information, it's one of those just join the pack or get to the back of the bus because you are paranoid issues.
Google never released a copy of their Google Toolbar for Chrome, guess they want to use it a kicker instep to create a late buzz for their browser
Believe me.... You have not used it yet then. Because once you do, you will respect and enjoy it. Minutes now have turned into seconds to do something in chrome. It's just so fast. Just like Firefox got introduced, and no one wanted it, i believe the same will happen with google Chrome. Chrome is just amazing. Way to fast, for me to let it go. I open it, and BOOM. its open. I click on a website, BOOM it opens. IE6 and Firefox.... i dontk now why, i have to wait. A few seconds, but i have to wait. If not, i gotta update a add on. Or something comes up. Just my thoughts. The whole top address bar is a toolbar. I'm sure you miss the other options in the toolbar. but, Chrome is more a web tool then a everyday app. I'm sure the toolbar may come later in the future, or it just get integrated into Chrome, without the necessities.
who can beat the speed of Chrome ? why Chrome does not have a navigation menu bar ? i like a multi-engines search box, possible ?
Chrome still in Beta and so once its released from beta then all the tools will support and also all the issues will be solved.. bcz its from Google
