I already gave a download link for old versions of Firefox in post #20. For the toolbar go to:
    http://download.cnet.com/Google-Toolbar-for-Firefox/3000-11745_4-10522820.html

Can I ask you please why you so especially want the Google toolbar, i.e. what are the features it had that you need?

This I think highlights the problem of recommending an alternative without asking what features the original had that are required. SEOmoz has its own ranking system which is not PR so it does not display it.
If PR is what you want, in Firefox click on "tools" at the top of the page, then from the drop-down menu click on "add-ons". In the search box at the top right type in "pagerank" and you will get a list of all the options you can install which will display it for you. If you choose one and it doesn't turn out to be quite what you want, just uninstall it, and go back and try something else.

What difference does it make what they actually fell out over? Google is not obliged to provide a toolbar for Firefox, and Firefox is not obliged to accept one.
It isn't available any more and that's that, but what is the big deal over this? As I asked someone else earlier in the thread, what are the features it had that you
    need?
