Thanks for the heads up - i never even knew about those. I use the send to button all the time in the stumbleupon toolbar to send pages to people. it works great. as for the statements in this post - i'd keep track of those who seem like they know what they are talking about like http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/page-rank-update-list.html
Hi, I'm logged in right now and see my "PageRank not assigned" under the Crawl Stats. It indicates right now its a 3. Does this mean by current live PR is 3? As of now the toolbar shows 0....and if this really does indicate your current live PR, then my site should be PR3 next toolbar update. Thanks
Oh dude, Good to see you back AT the OP - Seriously did we need another pr thread, How many ways can you guys twist the title and still talk about the same thing.... Didn't you see the HUGE sticky for the pr thread.....
Not to be rude but... How the hell would you know? They will possibly stop exporting it? -- Yeah - its possible. Its also possible that they will send us all a check later this year for using their search engine. Your statement appears to be nothing more then BS speculation.
Sources Sources Sources Come on man, you know you can't make a bold statement like that, not even a speculative statement one, without some sort of facts to back it up. Is this just your guess? Your unsubstantiated theory?
Oh well he tried. At least he didn't started the thread with "When does pagerank update"... Btw, wasn't Google saying "PageRank is the heart of our software", do you mean they are going to cause a "heart attack" to themselves?
I think you need to put some sources or take back what your saying about the TBPR. I can see some Red coming your way for posting something without any proof.
Does that mean that I going to stay a PR4 forever? Or will they get rid of the PR Tool bar and then come back with a new one. Like when Coca Cola compamy got rid of coke and replaced it with new coke. Then came back with coke classic. It cost them a lot of business. A lot of people didn't like 'new coke' and never went back to coke classic. It's like leaving your wife for another women and then coming back to find out that she is no longer there. Will Google replay the 'New Coke Fiasco"?
google will not stop exporting pr in the near future as to do o would stop many webmasters from using their toolbar. No toolbar means less data collected on webmasters. The data they collect on us is worth a fortune.
There *is* no source. This is all speculation. More on the thread that started it all: http://www.webmasterworld.com/google/3416514.htm Adam Lasnik from Google contributed to the discussion there.
its all speculation - read the stickiest post on the subject. even if they stop exporting it doens't mean they won't calculate it nor does it mean it be available from other servers.
