Read in a local business daily that Google has decided to stop displaying ads to essay wiriting services and pre-written-papers, theses.
Already has some 20 like categories to which it does not display ads like gambling, cigars ,etc.

Not being allowed to display ads on essay or term paper sites was put in the Policies section several MONTHS ago.

Seems like he has found an OLD newspaper, or the daily news of his town is really outdated.

Does anyone know the reasons behind these regulations ?
I don't have such sites but seems very strange to me, i mean what harm do they do?
Or they are inefficient from the traffic quality point of view?

Google is our new ethical advisors - you didn't know that? They decide what is good and what is evil.

Probably because they are contributing to the idiocy of this country's youth by letting them download their essays instead of actually doing some (god forbid) original research.

I *think* I read somewhere that a bunch of teachers, etc grouped together and asked google not to display ads to these types of sites...

Don't quote me on that one, It's just in my memory bank :) lol.

    But definitely old news....

If Google was to fall on comparatively hard times then I think their ethics would soon change to suit their shareholders.

Old news, but just as good as when it was new. Their new approach of telling people that their "business model" doesnt fit with adsense is fine by me.
