    This does work but as everyone mentioned it's already a well known method. Getting a site indexed in Google is easy to do. There are even ways to get a site that has been banned from google back in.

    Yeah, wouldn't call it *hot hot* - but pretty old news - anyone here with a signature (and even those without :p ) probably already knows all about this technique ;)

    I've been using this effective method for several years. Yes, normally Google will index such a linked page rather quickly, but not always. I recall one new page I linked to from my PR4 home page that took over a month for Google to index. But I will admit that was a rare exception.

    As far as linking to the new page from "a site that has any PR", I would say that as a general rule (not infallible), the higher the PR on the page you are linking from, the more likely Google will find, and hopefully index, your new page quickly.
