I was browsing Google and then searched some indexed pages on my site, as I clicked for the next page result I got this error: Funny eh? Either I have spyware/virus on my computer I don't know of or I am a virus.
Funny you should mention this...someone posted a thread about this 403 error earlier too. More details here: forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=443439
This can be fairly common, depending on the nature of your query - especially if you keep hitting "next" to see more results. I run into this when trying to find what page my listing is on. It usually kicks in after I hit "next" 5 times or so.
I get that all the time as well. I think its this seo tool bar for FF , I have that is making them think that :O)
If someone could support my theory, I think it's from overusing google. To many consecutive searches. I use to get it all the time, when I used google to get to every webpage on the Internet. I'm on linux, so I doubt, I had a virus.
It is You. Your trying to prolly tring to dig into Google and spam them. Anyways on a serious note this has never happened with me. May be you should check your system for viruses. Its time you digg your computer now
I got that once too when I didn't know how to spell a word so just kept changing one letter at a time and searching
One more reason to mix other engines in with one's normal searching patterns. I've enjoyed using msn's search lately - they'll show you many hundreds of results and won't treat you like a criminal.
yep this is especially true if you are tryig to do something like compile a list of guestbooks or comment forms. Google tends to stop on the 11th page for certain types of queries. Stops the blackhats
Too many queries for the same site/keyword can result in the same thing. Someone blasting google with multiple requests for your site could do this to you... at least on a site by site/keyword by keyword basis... at least that is my understanding of how it was done to an older site of mine. As everyone that searched for my keywords/site name were getting that automated response. Again, this is speculation on my part based on a very odd two weeks.
