Google, the Real Swine

Can't tell you how discouraging it is, to know that i've been dumping no less than ~30-45 Swine Flu articles/headlines an hour into my site for days, (nearly rivaling the amount of Obama articles around the election (on a per day basis)) & google doesn't even have a cache that's newer than the 26th.

I can consistently have google cache a new page in ~minutes, not hours, but they send sh*t for traffic. (been this way for a ~year+) Even while link building directly to that page, for that specific subject.

    - & i'm not the type of person who runs around 'link building' either.

Hell, the cache of pages that link to the page, are more fresh then the page cache itself.

While i won't exactly 'praise' Yahoo in comparison, there is no comparison. Yahoo at least recognizes wtf is going on and unlike google, recognizes (the user benefit in) having fresh cache (& yes they are sending some traffic)

Seriously wtf is wrong? Why can't they orient themselves for actual user benefit?

& Look at the advertisements being displayed @ 'Swine Flu'

    1. f'ing display URL is a 404 on this one, 'swine' doesn't even exist on their front page, nor does it return any results on their own search. Wait, some one bidding on a phrase w/apparently no related content? Wow never seen that before.

    2. The next advertisement is sporting a dietary supplement as "Protect Against Swine Flu" - Thanks again google. But wait there's more, just like the previous advertisement the word swine doesn't even exist on their front page & searching swine on their own site returns nothing!

Can we go 3 for 3?

    3. This 3rd advertisement has tamiflu in the display URL, but wait.. the display URL = 404! Shocker! - So Let's..yep, no 'swine' anything on the front page, and guess what's also missing from the front page? That'd be the product 'Tamiflu' in the 404'd display URL. Just like the last 2, searching 'swine' on their own site returns no results. The only thing 'right' about this site, is tamiflu appears to be actually found upon (literally) searching.

    - I'm not saying the phrase has to exist on the front page, but by comparison to many, including me, again.. no comparison.

Why am i talking about advertisements all of a sudden? I duno maybe it's because i'm advertising my swine flu page that's insanely insanely more relevant & valuable then the junk ^ provided here. - But don't bother asking how my (adwords) ad is 'performing'

I can't tell you how tired i am of busting my ass only to get short changed over junk.

Maybe you need some backlinks to the articles?
