    Whats with Google and the new trend for showing top 2 results from various searches on searches that are related ?
    Basically giving the top results to the big companies, pushing the little guys out ?

    Are they paid results ? or is it come kind of deal the companys have with google to rank for their own competetive terms ?

    Why is goolge doing this.. is there a way round it ?

    Basically you just have to pay for it. For what I know, it's just like any sponsored link out there.
