Google Text or Images?

Ive only been webmastering about 2 weeks and using google adsense for about a week. I make all my ads text and image. Any suggestion as to whether images or text ads tend to get more clicks? And does either tend to pay better than the other? Thanks in advance.

i am using adsense too but not expert,
    - adsense image : pay bigger every click, because it took all space, but as i read about on internet (forget the link), not much people click on image

    - adsense text: pay little, but a lot people click.
i read from internet (again, forget the link), better using 336 x 280 on post , better put after / below image , and better if you can make the ad box embed / looks like content of post. customize the ad color.

    - adsense link : put this on your sidebar / below header, as people think that this is category link or something like that

    that's all i know ..
i already using adsense 3 month from now, got 2000 visit a day, get around 20 click everyday.

    not bad for newbie ..

I have found links to be the best to use with Adsense - people are more likely to click on them than images.
One sure way to making your ads clicked is to ensure that your content is optimised to make the ads relevant, which will attract valid and quality clicks.

the best use of adsense (at least from my opinion) is to go with text ads only, and really blend them in with your content. make the Title the same color as your other links on your site, and the background color the same as the website's background...

You don;t want your Adsense ads to say: "hey, look, I'm an ad... click me" .. you won't get click this way.

Blend them in, and you'll get more clicks.

And as for the positioning. try, to put them on the right side and above the fold. why on the right and not on the left? Because when someone reads your content, and your ads are on the left, that someone can easily skip the ads and read just the content.

But... if you put the ads on the right, the human eye follows naturally the text of your site.. and lands on the ads, whether they want it or not. This way you will guarantee that your ads are seen by your visitors.

    good luck!

I think you can put Google Image ads between post (as a screenshot).

Text ads always makes user click on link than picture, becuase picture ad will look like banner ads and text attract users to click, so go for text link.
