That's an excellent point...for it to work it would have to be endorsed not only by google and the advertisers, but the webmasters as well. I feel a bit more reassured :D

    Check this out- http://services.google.com/payperaction/.

It's going to be a nightmare for affiliate companies including pay per click being under a major threat. I believe if this works out adsense might become totally pay per action from pay per click.

So this is going to beat other CPA competitors like CJ or azoogle or clickbank :)

How can publishers signup for it ?

It's in beta at the moment only for advertisers. But this for sure will wipe out all those affiliate companies as no one can sell better for you than google itself.

Wow this better for advertisers. So this is bad for us who use Google Adense because we don't get money for Pay Per Click.:(

But pay per action makes you more money if you have quality traffic.

So we have to signup for this new PPA account? Can't we use our current adsense account?

It's not open for publishers yet. They're asking the merchants or advertisers to sign up with their adwords id for testing.

Yes but it won't be as easy as adsense. It's harder to make sales than to get clicks.

It might be but in past I had been performing well with lead generation and other things compared to the clicks thing. And I think nowadays visitors also know what this adsense is. So they don't click it.

Atleast they will get something new :D

Well right from the beginning it's always been this way. Google search engine was a modified copy of aol. In business world people copy whatever works as long as it's lucrative.
