Google talk is now open to the whole world!

    This is pretty cool, and I guess it's Google's way of trying to promote gtalk a little further: now you no longer need gmail to use google talk!

    That's fantastic, it's is a very high quality IM, but an even higher quality VOIP tool. I'd really like it if more of my friends were on it.

    but one doubt is there,this facility is available for calling any landline or mobile or just like yahoo and msn in which u can talk with that person who is online only.

    currently it's for calling online contacts, but I'm sure that that will change soon enough

    I've just read abotu this on SEOChat... and as far I remember, the article mentioned that it's unlikely that gtalk will be made to call landlines and mobile phones

    I don't understand how it's at all unlikely

    most of what Google has done in the last couple years is unlikely, we should be expecting it from them!

    I hope it will happen soon as an option in Gtalk, we might have to pay 'small fee'.

    Personally, i don't think google don't have to buy skype because they are monopoly the market now. :)

    I don't think it will be that great. Anybody who wants to make a phone call, especially a business one, has a cell phone with free long distance.
