Google Talk just had an update and you can listen to your friends music that there playing, not just see what there listening to... like MSN IM. This is cool, +1 to GTalk!
Hey, Just saw the new GoogleTalk released on the GoogleTalk's blog. If someone want info about it or wanna download see:- www.google.com/talk Enjoy I have downloaded it!. But i have 0 contacts at Google Talk . I am adding people now Thanks
Note - this does not work on Windows 2000 What is file transfer? Google Talk allows you to send files to your friends, right from your chat window! You can share photos, videos, or documents with the click of a button - there's no restriction on file size or file type. Sending a photo will insert a preview of the image directly into the chat session, so that your friend can see it right away. Other file types can be opened from the chat window, and will launch in their default application*. They'll also be saved to your hard drive for later. How do I transfer a file with Google Talk? To send a file with Google Talk: From an active chat window, click the Send Files button. Browse to the file or files you'd like to send (use CTRL-Shift to select more than one file at a time). Click OK. Google Talk will insert your file into the chat session. At this point, you'll have the option to Cancel the transfer. Doing so will withdraw the offer. Otherwise, your contact can click Accept to download the file to their hard drive, or Decline to reject the transfer. You can also simply drag and drop files and folders into an open chat window to initiate a transfer. Your intended recipient needs to be using Google Talk as well. If they're Windows users who are currently using another client, you can tell them to download Google Talk at www.google.com/talk.
Yeah, it doesnt contain any ads and other craps like Msn & Yahoo. The next version may contain Emoticons,Winks etc . I am waiting for the next version.
I used before and it was ok the only thing that I don't like is that you can't do file transfer, not sure if this has been added yet.
It really is getting interesting. Beside the fact that I love they use open standards for this. It will probably be a while before the big teenage masses get on this one.
yeah that sounds exccellent, but not so good if the person your talking to is listening to a crap song
