Ironically, there is a navigation ad on the Cnet site: Pretty stupid to blame Google. If i have a GPS navigation and get stuck because the road is closed due to weather, should i blame the navigation manufacturer?
And for those following the stories, it wasn't vandals. Employees responsible for closing the gate didn't because they weren't sure at the point they were supposed to do it if there were people on the wrong side of it.
Either we are largely responsible for our own actions or there is no stop to the madness. I would almost bet you could find some obscure way to attribute this to at least half of the people in the United States if you really wanted to play connect the dots.
