Today, i noticed that 80 % of my site's pages are in supplemental results, again. No duplicates or blackhat. does this issue have something to do with the data pushes again just like what happened couple of months ago?

i think google really push sites to have many strong backlinks (to take longer time for new sites and prevent them easily gaining site rankings, we have to work for it) to get rid of supps :(

    Hello,

Do you repeat your menu on each page? if you have few text and your menu is too long, maybe this is the problem.

    Best,
    Jakomo

Sorry but what do you mean with "repeat your menu"? I have enough text on the pages. ACtually one of the pages with the most content in it is in supplemental.

Jakomo, all content passes to me and before they are even uploaded, i already checked them with copyscape. this is not an issue of duplicate content, i believe.

It's probably a case of not enough deep links and low PR on internal pages.
Also, make sure each of your pages have unique title and meta tags.

It's kinda new site and only a few backlinks. Is this what really happens with new sites?

If it's a large site and has few backlinks then it's almost cetain to suffer with supplimental results.

The low PR is the problem.
I have pages with new and unique content in the Supp index.
This matter was well explained in the matt cutts's blog.

Well yea, but this site is only a few months old and only has about 3 backlinks! If that is the case, then why did they not do it in all of my pages? why did they put only some of the pages in supp and not everything?

I think Google checks new sites today. They check all the links... Google algorithm changes again from what I have experience. I have also supplemental results... We must build more quality links....:D My supplementals on some of my pages are gone after I deeplinks my pages and submit to more directories....

according to the matt cutts , main criteria for the supplemental results is page rank you must find backlinks from high pr web sites.

reading http://www.seo4fun.com/notes/supplementals.html is also a good option. it's a good resourse for supplemental results

trichnosis: just wanted to say thanks for posting that link! that is exactly what I needed to read as my site is having supplemental issues as well ever since we switched over from a .net to a .com and changed our entire directory structure. i know not a smart seo move...but it had to be done. :)

check your meta tags for any similarities. Also look at your backlinks as it appears Google is trying to scrutinize bought links.
