Google + Sun = GOffice

    ZDNet is reporting that it's a done deal. Google and Sun are working together to build a better, and possibly Ajax, version of OpenOffice.org :D

    Go Google and Sun!!! Improve my OpenOffice!

    Why would you need to Ajax an office application? What sort of server side scripting would benefit it?

    nevetS - This would allow you to read and write documents without installing any software on your computer. May also work well for group projects.

    forkqueue - I missed that. I did a search for OpenOffice and a quick scan of recent posts and didn't see it. My bad.
