    Hello,

The past few days, when I go to google to submit a URL, after you hit submit, is it supposed to take you to a totally blank page? I can't tell whether it accepted it or not?

    Thanks.

    Hi ,

Yes , it doesnt make sense but thats what ive noticed since I started using the submission last April..

    It has worked...

However if you want my 2 cents.. I dont use any submission tools.. Just rely on Google picking up a new site from a link on another...

Even if you have to buy a good PR link for a week.. Google will find it at least once , discover you're not in and include you next time..

    Sorry... too much info.... :)

txwebdesign, does the blank page have any writing in the top left corner? when i submit, it displays a page like that and says it is re-directing and then i end up at a normal google page that thanks me for my submission, the page title is 'google information for webmasters' do you have javascript enabled?

something doesn't sound correct with what you're getting after a submit. just my 2 cents worth.

Do not even bother submitting. Just have an indexed external page linking to you and Google will find and crawl your site. Search engine submission no longer provides benefits. On another note, although Google mentions there is no penalty for submitting a site multiple times, I would err on the side of caution. Also, have you done sitemaps?

I 2nd that submiting to Google is a waste of time, just get a few backlinks and you will be on there soon enough. Google sitemaps can be usefull to get all of your pages on there!
