    It will still come down to the quality of the content. Even when the algorithm was much simpler, you could only manipulate the system for so long.

    The interesting thing is whether Google will scrape the PR altogether, or leave it hidden as a part of its algorithm. Anyway, this is good news for the end-user and those that consistently produce good content.

    No. Google Pagerank has not been important/factor for several years now, in fact the person who is responsibility for Google Pagerank have said that he/Google is stopping Google Pagerank. They will still use pagerank for themselves but not for any one of us by stop updating Google Pagerank toolbar. So in other words Google Pagerank is no longer exists, if you have Google Pagerank toolbar on your internet browsers then you should already gone ahead and removed the add-on because it has been stopped for over a year now. Only still useful is the Alexa toolbar but that is it and beside you should never worried about Google Pagerank in the first place anyway, because Google Pagerank has never been important as only important thing for your website is that you make sure you provide good contents for the sake of SEO.

    Google Pagerank is not 'dead', just hidden. It is still there, as a hidden part of their algorithm in ranking.
    ^^Website content is important, not impotent. You need potent content to get traffic.

    in my opinion, I think, for Google company PageRank or abbreviation of PR it doesn't useful because some of matter or kind of policy that a lot of people or it has no increasing of popularity because a lot of people understand about it, because there are many site like Twitter, Facebook, or social media that is used for a lot of people but none of them check the e-mail except some of business man or any other purpose of job I think

    Page rank ain't dead yet but just hidden, they still use it even in the new algorithm but hidden it to reduce misuse.
    Although I believe you should not rely on it and focus more on the content.
