Google stop pagerank? Google: We Won't Be Updating Toolbar PageRank

It will be really very difficult for a SEO if Google stops pageranks. It made me worried.

 

Now all the big wigs can come back down to hell with the rest of us.

 

Google Page Rank Mechanism was a big loss for Google and SEO Industry. People were only concerned with Page Rank of the Backlinks and paid no heed to the content and other parameters which are really important in SEO.

A Website with Page Rank 3 can easily beat Website with Page rank 7.

 

I would not be surprised if google is already scheming on some type of
plan to do away with link building all together, After all, if you have a popular
site, then there is no need to link build, and google expects you to be
popular by natural means, not running out and buying tons of links....

I would imagine that google cares about the 1%
They do not care about anyone other themselves...

Google will not going to show you the pagerank. But the algorithms will remain same. This how the spicy content will generate on its own. Those who will work good on content will be the king. SEO industry was majorly focused to increase pagerank and in reports they do mention PageRank.

 

PR does not mean anything right now. Quality linking what matters

 

While Google is not going to update its PR, Is high PR back-links still favorable for SEO?

And one more thing is that the concept of no-follow and do-follow backlinks is still alive?

Do-follow links were important for PR.

 

They may not be redesigning the PR Toolbar but rather there is nothing to say that the entire guideline of what PR is the way its ascertained and how they consider PR in their calculations is being dropped.

 

No-follow and do-follow backlinks work the same right now. You can check. But, at the same time, PR back-links still favorable for SEO. Checked and Approved.

 

I read in somewhere, they said that PR may be hacked. So, google stoped pagerank?

 

Very Strange decision by Google, I believe they will definitely introduce something new and good in near future. Fingers crossed

I think Google still care about the sites that got good PR. But new websites wont get a page rank, because Google stop updating PR. Because it's all about getting back links, too easy to cheat, but Google still checking back links in there algorithm, they just don't give it a priority.
But it is impotent to get back links from the sites that got higher PR.

 

I at times think of it like those kids making it harder for themselves by cheating than actually would have been to learn the thing.
Google does make some very bold moves though.

 

For real? Maybe you won't be able to sell "high PR super dooper Hummingbird + Panda safe + Penguin safe + Judgement day safe" blog comment backlinks because more people will realize that it's just a useless metric.

 

How this can be easily beat it Dude? I think PR7 Webmasters are not slice peace.

I think PageRank will disappear completely, but probably will remain somehow hidden in the algorithms. I think Google didn't expect the PageRank to become such a problem after releasing it and for so many years; webmasters used PageRank to practically create a new market, as example for backlinks etc etc. So now Google is solving the problem. Focusing on content and quality of a website and not the PageRank is anyway a good thing for any webmaster.
