Maybe a little off topic here but... Do you think Google's massive stock price will drop due to the new clickable area on adsense? I have read and seen polls that alot of users are losing some CTR over it. Not all,but myself included have lost about 1/3. So over all do you think it possible big G's revenue could also drop 1/3 or so. Curious to read your thoughts on this.
IMHO - this was a step Google had to make to prevent loss of clients. If Google wants to keep people using their service they have to improve it and have to take care of people who actually bring money in. Accidental and unwanted clicks are not needed by advertisers and it was a simple way how Google show they care.
I don't think so. It will probably make them more money in the long run. Plus, I haven't seen any changes in CTR.
I don't know if adsense is the cause of the stock's decline. Regardless, if your look at tech stocks in general we have seen a nasty drop all together. The president of INO.com did an analysis on Google on 11-27 and tracked the decline by using technical indicators. From a non-fundamental approach, Google took that drop and is rebounding. The natural cycle of the Fibonacci would suggest that it will return to its high... so it may not be adsense at all that is caused the stock price fall.
