i have a celebrity site, daily updated see my sig for the link.

i am using google webmaster tools to submit my sitemap

    the problem is:

my site has about 2000 total active links but only 1300 are indexed from google, according to google webmaster tools. Also if i check for a post i did yesterday and enter exactly that title, i get no result from my website.

any ideas why this is happening? my last 3 month posts are still not showing up!

it won't index all urls that is true. However if you have links with higher popularity through backlinks, these gets priotrised. You can set what links has higehr popularity and the priortrisation in the sitemap. This will give google a better idea. Also make sure your robots.txt file not blocking some parts of the websites or having no-follows.

Since your website is not so popular that is why it is taking some time to index all your page. Once your website will popular like 2000+ active users then it will index your each and every pages.

Basically google does time to index all the pages of a website. And if the site is not so popular or has lot of competitors, it might take a long time. However you just have to continue building the links and google will eventually do its job.
