Im currently using Google stats to track my visitors ect.. I want to use another stastic program on my server, Google is 1-2 days behind and I want one that tracks visitors LIVE and thats FREE. Please suggest very good programs for this in PHP.

    Thanks

My friend told me that awstats.sourceforge.net is a nice log file analyzer. But I'm also using google analytics, it is also useful.

Google analytics is better than awstats.

I prefer statcounter to anything else - partly because I'm just used to it, so know how to 'read' it, but also it's in real-time, and allows me to see how people are moving around my site as individual visitors

I use both Statcounter and Google Analytics. My host also provides awstats and webalizer.

All of them have slightly different views of the data, and all of them are free, so between the four of them I pretty much have data analytics covered! :D

I tend to lose confidence in Google Analytics these days. I think I will keep to Awstats as they provide a better statistics overview. However, Google Analytics is good in the sense that the statistics can be easily shared among Google members.
