Google said it is 'reviewing the feasibility of our business operations in China' and may back out of China entirely, as it disclosed it had been hit with major cyberattacks it believes to have originated from the country. The following was posted on the official Google blog by David Drummond, SVP, Corporate Development and Chief Legal Officer:

The main reason is the Chinese government attempts to control China's Internet users said, I In China, I understand our situation, we are very painful, my site has been broken many times by executive order the Internet, more and more stations in China long will your site out of China, even Chinese owners are reluctant to use their country's top-level domains:. cn, because it was too horrible, you can without any formalities can be registered domain names to stop parsing, and even the recovery of domain ownership .
Terrible dictatorship of the Chinese government, but we are in China, there is no way. Can only swallow this feeling, we Chinese owners can understand the plight of Google China, Google also supported against the Chinese government, because they are too much!

I really feel sorry for the people of china, who r under severe internet dictatorship of what should be done and what not.
it really hurts to c pages r blocked bcoz its an anti-national site is terrible, how in the world will he nationalites know about, what the other country citizens think about the mess around

I hope china revamps its policies, blocking porn is something I am not against, as it will totally depend on their customs, but users must have freedom of surfing

google might not get badly hit, as google is still growing in china and not a leader as of yet. It will affect their world-wide-turnover though.

On the other side, I see a nationalistic part here. To give way for China's own search engine sites...

Its Google decision on how they want to run their company. I'm not sure if its going to hurt the company. I'm sure Google would have gone over this in detail before making this decision. Time will tell.
