Google stagnant?

Has anyone seen any lasting movement for any of your keywords. I have seen no real change in the SERPS for any of my keywords in weeks now. It seems unlikely that things would remain the same for so long.

I have seen serps that experience almost no change in several years now.. thats how it should be ;) for some subjects..and serps that move daily. It depends on MANY factors competiton.. type of info/ keywords/ industry in general, industry growth, datacentre etc.

But a search for ebay should always bring up Ebay (high up at least).. and it probably always will although the order may change slightly.

I see normal fluctuations everyday, but, then again I am in a pretty competitive market also.

I had one just by 9K last week, very interesting. Seen some other improvements also. Most seem to be stuck in some limbo where the PR has dropped off for some strange reason.

I see no PR update, pages getting out of the index, stagnant SERPs... Ok, another conspiration theory, but is the G team spending too much time at other projects, trying to ease all this SEO hype or just damn lazy?

It seems to mee too that there is a major update coming pretty soon. My target keywords jump up and down quite a lot nowadays. I had one word going from 1. - to out of the first 200 today. Then it was back at top again later on.

It depends on the site and on the keywords/search terms. Some of the search term - website combinations I monitor have been stable for a coupole of years; others jump around frequently.

I can't say I've seen anything really unusual of late...
