Do you guys reckon that google has spys? I'm convinced i have spotted a few of their posts on this forum.
I'm not being paranoid, nor have i got anything to hide. Just thought it was an interesting question.

Google employees will look at forums like this to see if they can find anyone who posts their CTR or mentions they clicks ads, anyone posting a link to where they can find a site that breaks the TOS. I'm not sure if they post though. As minstrel said, where are these posts?

Can't remember any specific ones. I just mean those rather long, highly informative posts that are TOS heavy and are written by Peons. Often they are slightly unrelated to the topic of the thread.

I think you're reading too much into those forum posts, Neurophase.

Google employees definitely read this forum daily (mostly the AdSense forum too), but they never bother to post.

I'm sure you could figure it out if you look at their quarterly report and divide the earnings by 90. :)

We do not read this forum everyday...um...I mean...you know...

They may or may not read this or any other forum, related or unrelated. Those forums which may or may not be read could or could not be possibly related to the thread that you may or may not be reading.

Anyways...wouldn't it be sweet if G joined the co-op...that would be sweet to get a PR10 link, even if it was random :)

How much PR would G have for 1 PR10 link?

Well, then I am doomed; doomed I say, doomed to sandbox eternity!!

Actually, they'd be daft not to read these forums - keeping one's finger on the pulse of the market, etc., etc.

Per Yahoo! (ahem, sorry Mr. G) Finance, current Quarter earnings should come in at around $1.19 / share (consensus). GOOG has 277.8mm. shares o/s, so that gives us $330mm. of net income, or a current run-rate of about $3.6mm./day, which is actually quite a bit more than I am making from AdSense at the moment, though probably not as much as Shoemoney.

No. We... I mean they, of course... only read the threads on this forum. We... I mean they of course... are way too busy to read posts on every forum...

Let them look. I don't think any regulars here are doing anything underhanded. I think for the most part we're all just looking for ways to increase our earnings - and not in any ways that violate the TOS. I like when people quote the TOS because sometimes it points things out to me that I didn't know - like the reporting of earnings.

When I first started out, I had no idea you couldn't click on your own ads. I thought it was absurd since the ads on my own sites are ones that I'm probably going to be most interested in, but then later I realized the logic in it. I'm glad I found out things like that BEFORE Google let me know about it.
