Hi guys. I have a pretty interesting problem in here, hopefully some of the smarts mind in here will help me figure this out.

I built and optimized a website for a friend of mine who sells jigsaws.

The problem is this: if you go in Google and type the website's name "vividstories" Google shows only the URL, without any title or description. We have metatag description, we also have a lot of optimized content on the index page.

I have never seen such a problem ! So, why is Google doing this and more important, how can we solve it out so that a proper title/description is shown ?

This one has me stumped. I looked at the HTML source.. it looks fine. I was expecting to find a typo in the meta tags. Even if there was a typo, the title should still show up.

If you haven't done so already, use Google Web Master tools. If Google finds a problem with your site, they will have a message there for you.

Block the default page from your robots.txt. Then submit for removal from Search Result only.

When it will be done, do remove the block from robots.txt and leave it as it is. It will be done.

Use some proper META Description and Title for more result.

Hey angelro... Yess... i have seen it, i typed vividstories in Google and found that your websites title and meta description is being shown in Google and so i think you need not to worry now.. :) but more over .. as i didn't see the search result when you had the URL being displayed in search result, can you tell me what actually went wrong?
