Google smart pricing questions

I have a doubt regarding smart pricing and adsense.
I run some rather large forums along with some niche sites.
Now i have read somewhere that if one of the sites gets smartpriced in google, all your other sites also end up being smartpriced by adsense? Is this true?

Because gallery's and arcades usually end up smartpriced and since the account is one, does it lead to all the sites in that account getting smartpriced?
And if so anyway to avoid this?

I think they refresh that on a regular basis (heard that was done weekly)
I am not sure "smartpriced" should be used as an equivalent to "penalised" or "sandboxed", what do you think?

I was smartpriced on my site about a week and a half ago. It was due to a huge increase in traffic that got me smartpriced. Luckily the traffic has continued and it seems Google has un-smartpriced my site.

I also noticed that it is one channel on my site that was getting the most clicks showed very low CPC.

Everything seems to be back to normal now in regard to CPC.

hmm yes, i have noticed that myself. A part of my site gets very large number of hits during certain events and at those times the CPC went down drastically. However the traffic goes down once event is over(not to zero but say to half).

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how do you know with such certainty that you are smartpriced?

Everybody seem to be so sure about their smartpricing condition that there must be a way to tell.

Since Google doesn't provide that info, how can I check if I'm "smartpriced"?

I often see my average CPC go up and down, but I'm sure that's because of different campaigns hitting my site.

Any information on this subject would be great.

    Thanks!
