I heard that there has recently been another google slap disabling a lot of keywords in adwords. Has anyone got any solutions, experiences to share?

I hadn't noticed anything. Are there any keywords in particular that you are having problems with?

They are implementing a new version of the quality score this week. It has not been rolled out yet. At the end of last week there was a bug that caused some people to get keywords deactivated, that was not a quality score adjustment.

I thought they hit the analysts expectations? I wonder why they're tinkering this time...

Yeah, you might want to stop listening to him because he is wrong. I saw that e-mail.

He obviously didn't even spend 5 seconds investigating it, so as far as I am concerned his credibility went to zero.

I just hope this will be fixed soon. Everytime i bid for a keyword it's either i'm asked to put a minimum bid of $1-$5 or remain inactive for search!! I have optimized the landing page very well, fixed titles, description, content, text ads and everything but still asking for more money. And i can't afford to bid $5 CPC for all my keywords

I find it amazing, so many threads about the cost of campaigns increasing, yet so many threads about average click value decreasing. I thought they were related.

Perry Marshall does not know dick about adwords. His methods are outdated and useless now. He claims to be a "guru" but anyone can claim that. In fact, I'm a guru of elephant snot.

As some others said, last Friday there were a lot of people who logged into accounts who had high performing, high CTR keywords disabled for quality reasons. However, from my experience from talking to a variety of people, Google seemed to indicate that a lot of this disabling activity was unintended, and since then, many people's keywords are back to pre-Friday status.
