@sapatak certainly yes. But also depends on what blog you use. Wordpress certainly has options to integrate sitemap. You only need to use a plugin and everything will be done.

You need to build links to your website in order to be indexed. Googlebot follows the links on other websites and if finds your link it will follow it and index your website.
Hey, do anyone have some idea why Google has removed a link added on its webmaster guidelines help center For set up an automated Sitemap Job. Is Google changing its algo for auto sitemap submissions ? or is changing its guideline ?

Information on robots.txt file is useful. It is neat explanation of sitemap. Now for those who use wordpress platform can have plugin which helps easy creation of sitemap.
Does anybody have an opinion on a wordpress plugin called "Google XML Sitemaps?" It seems to generate a sitemap and send it off to google and others. I am hoping it works. Opinions? Do you have experience to share?
When creating a sitemap with a tool such as vigos gsitemap, google sees the format as RSS Feed. When manually creating a sitemap, google sees the format as a sitemap. Why is it that Google sometimes views sitemaps as RSS Feeds?
As far as I know, there is an option from Google to submit a RSS feed as your sitemap. As for me - I prefer old XML format.
