Google sitemaps asking to verify site again!

I have been using Google sitemaps since it started and the other day when i logged in, it asked me to verify my sites again to access all the features. Now i've done that before but it seems that it's losing its memory somehow. The following day everything was back to normal. However since yesterday it's asking me to verify one of my sites which i've already verified before. Are you guys experiencing the same problem?

 

yes, could be a temporarily problem though.. it keeps updating all this all the time.. so check back later and all should be good

 

I get that occasionally so I leave the verification file there now.

 

My site is still pending for verification. I have tried several times, I hope they can fix this soon. The perks of free stuffs lol z

 

This happened to me a while ago and when I tried to verify again I had problems but than was fine after a few hours.

Wait a couple of hours and try again.

 

I havent removed my verification file at all and it's been unverified for 2 weeks now. Im not too much worried because it's a domain i dont use often but it's just irritating.

 

Maybe you should use meta tag for verify, I don't have problems with that

 

i'm sometimes getting the same problem .but it's mostly a temporarily problem

 

I'm sure i read somewhere online (maybe pcadvisor.co.uk) that Google is experiencing a problem with sitemaps and they hope to get it fixed soon.
