google sitemap url limitations

    anbody know the exact url limitations in google sitemap. How many urls we can add in google sitemap.

    you can have 50,000 files, after that, you need multiple sitemaps.

    I prefer to keep mine in the 15,000-20,000 range per file. No real reason, just the way I like to do things.
